For Physicians | Bellafill® for Smile Lines & Acne Scars

Bellafill is the only dermal filler FDA approved to safely and effectively treat smile lines for up to 5 years.

Bellafill is the only dermal filler that’s FDA approved to smooth smile lines for up to five years. Its uniform 30 to 50 micron polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres are suspended within a base of smooth collagen gel. As the body metabolizes the smooth collagen gel, it leaves behind the PMMA microspheres that form a scaffold to support the production of endogenous collagen to maintain volume and natural looking results long term.

Bellafill® is proven safe and effective in the longest and largest dermal filler study ever.

Help the over 12 million patients suffering from acne scars bring back smooth skin with Bellafill.

Research shows 82% of aesthetic patients want a long-term filler. Which means Bellafill can help build loyalty in your practice, because 70% would get other aesthetic treatments from a provider that offered a long-term filler.

Through multiple clinical studies and post market surveillance, there is clear evidence of long term safety with Bellafill through 12 years.

Only Bellafill demonstrates high patient satisfaction of 83% at 5 years and over 90% “Worth It” rating on RealSelf.

Bellafill providers get the benefit of on-going partnership and practice support through our consumer outreach programs and practice development programs.

Bellafill® is approved by Health Canada and indicated for the correction of nasolabial folds. Patients who have had a positive reaction to the optional Bellafill Skin Test, have a history of severe allergies, have known bovine collagen allergies, are allergic to lidocaine, have bleeding disorders or are prone to thick scar formation and/or excessive scarring should not receive Bellafill. The safety of Bellafill for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in patients under 21 has not been established. Following treatment of Bellafill you may experience temporary swelling, redness, pain, bruising, lumps/bumps, itching, and discoloration at the treatment site. These side effects are usually temporary and typically resolve within 1–7 days. You may experience lumps/bumps/papules that occur more than one month after injection and may persist. Less common side effects include rash and itching more than 48 hours after treatment, persistent swelling or redness, lumps/bumps, acne, and increased sensitivity at treatment sites. Very rarely, granulomas may occur and may be treated by your licensed physician provider. Be sure to call your licensed provider immediately if you notice any unusual skin reactions around the treatment area. Based upon the U.S. 5-year Post-Approval Study on nasolabial folds with 1,008 patients, long-term safety of Bellafill for up to 5 years has been established.
